Materials Fee

This course will be taught one block each day. A portion of class time is spent in classroom training and the other majority is spent working in the shop or on-the-job (off the school campus) constructing new house or completing small building projects for elementary schools and other approved places. The latest technology in safety and home building is used in this class. This course is required before taking the following classes in high school and/or TTC: Carpentry 1 #5731, Welding #5786 & #5787 at TTC, or Masonry #5735 at TTC.

Prerequisite: Construction Core

This course may be taught for 2 blocks each day. A portion of class time is spent in classroom training and the other majority is spent working in the shop or on-the-job (off the school campus) constructing new house or completing small building projects for elementary schools and other approved places. Several class-related field trips are included in this course. Students may take each course twice (2 different times) and receive up to four (4) credits.
